1HH_IDThis field contains the Household ID. Each household that responded to the survey has a unique household ID. The ID is stored as a number that is up to 5 digits and is in the range of 1-15000. This ID allows survey response data in different tables to be related to each other.
2FertilizeThis field contains the response to question 14 in which the respondent answered the question about whether they fertilize their lawn or not. If the value in this field is blank, it means that no value was checked by the survey respondent.1=Yes, 2=No
3Fertilize_TimesThis field contains the response to question 14, part a in which the respondent answered the question about how many times did the respondent fertilized their lawn during 2007. If the value in this field is blank, it means that no value was checked by the survey respondent. 1=0 times, 1=1-2 times, 3=3-4 times, 4=5 or more times
4Lawn_ServiceThis field contains the response to question 14, part b in which the respondent answered whether they hired a lawn service company. If the value in this field is blank, it means that no value was checked by the survey respondent.1=Yes, 2=No
5LawnServ_NameThis field contains the response to question 14, part b about hiring a lawn service. If the respondent responded "yes" to hiring a lawn service (or 1 in field "Lawn_Service"), and provided the name of a lawn service company, that text is provided in this field. If the value in this field is blank, it means that no value was checked by the survey respondent.
6Lawn_Size_m2This field contains the size of the lawn on the property as calculated by digitizing the building and drivway in GIS using aerial photography and then calculating the area. The lawn size is the property size minus building and driveway size in square meters. This work was done by the TCHEP team. The digitization was done for 360 properties. The value provided is in square meters.squareMeter
7No_of_PlotsThis field contains the number of plots on the household property, if the household was one of the 360 households surveyed. If the household was one of the 360 household surveyed, but there is no number in this field, then the whole property was surveyed. This field should be used together with the number
8Rakes_PortionThis field contains the numeric code for the response given to the survey question 18 asking about the portion of leaves were raked or removed from the homeowners property. If the value in this field is blank, it means that no value was checked by the survey respondent.1=None, 2=A quarter, 3=One-half, 4=three-quarters, 5=All
9Water_Times_OriginalThis field contains the response to question 15 in which the respondent answered the question about how often they water their lawn. If the value in this field is blank, it means that no value was checked by the survey respondent.1=Regularly, 2=Occasionally, 3=Rarely/Never
10Septic_SystemThis field contains the numeric code for the choice made in answering survey question 22 about whether the household has a septic system for their primary home. If the value in this field is blank, it means that no value was checked by the survey respondent.Yes=1, No=2
