ATTRIBUTES

Field	Name	Definition	Unit	Code
1	Energy_info	This field indicates whether the household provided utility bill access to the TCHEP researchers. If the field is left blank, it means that there is no utility bill data available for this household. The utility bill data are available upon request to the TCHEP research team		Y=Electric and Gas data available, G=only Gas data available
2	HH_ID	This field contains the Household ID. Each household that responded to the survey has a unique household ID. The ID is stored as a number that is up to 5 digits and is in the range of 1-15000. This ID allows survey response data in different tables to be related to each other.
3	Owned	This field contains that numeric code for the response to survey question 1 about home ownership. If this record is left blank, it means the household did not provide a response to this question.		1=Own,2=Rent
4	Owned_Years	This field contains the answer to question 1A, which asked the number of years a household has owned their home (if they indicated they were a homeowner in Question 1). The unit for values in this field is in Years. If this record is left blank, it means the household did not provide a response to this question.	nominalYear
5	2nd_Home	This field contains the numeric code for the response to survey question 4 about whether the household owns a second home or cabin. If this record is left blank, it means the household did not provide a response to this question.		1=Yes,2=No

7	Happyness	This field contains the repsonse to question 31 about how happy the survey respondent feels. If this record is left blank, it means the household did not provide a response to this question.		1=Very happy, 2=Pretty happy, 3=Not too happy
8	Main_Age	This field contains the age of the household member answering the survey given in Question 34. This value is given in the units of years. If this record is left blank, it means the household did not provide a response to this question.	nominalYear
9	Main_Gender	This field contains the gender of the household member answering the survey given in Question 33. If this record is left blank, it means the household did not provide a response to this question.		1=male,2=female
10	Main_Race_Text	This field contains free text associated with the selection of "7=Other" in response to question 33. If Other was selected by the respondent, there was a space for the respondent to write in and that text is contained in this field. Use in association with the fields Main_Race1 and Main_Race2. If this record is left blank, it means the household did not provide a response to this question.
11	Main_Race1	This field contains one of the race selections by the household member answering the survey given in Question 33. If this record is left blank, it means the household did not provide a response to this question. If the respondent selected 7=Other, there was a space for the respondent to write in and that text can be found in the field called: Main_Race_Text. Additionally, if the respondent provided another race slection, it can be found in the field, Main_Race2.		1=Caucasian,2=Hispanic,3=African American,44=Asian or Pacific Islander,5=Native American,6=Alaskan Native,7=Other
12	Main_Race2	This field contains one of the race selections by the household member answering the survey given in Question 33. 14	PNone	This field contains part of the response to Question 3 about Pets in the survey, where the respondent could check none to indicate they had no pets. If the respondent selected None, there will be a value of 1 in this field, otherwise it will be blank which means the respondent did not check this box. However a household may not have listed any pets and this value might be blank. To ascertain pets listed in this household, it is best to review the Pets table.		1=None
15	Total_Income	This field contains the response to question 38 about household income. 16	Trips	This field contains part of the response to Question 11 about Air Travel in the survey, where the respondent could check none to indicate they had no pets. If the respondent selected No Trips, there will be a value of 1 in this field, otherwise it will be blank which means the respondent did not check this box. To ascertain actual trips associated with this household, it is best to review the AirTravel table.		1=No Trips
17	Permission_Visit	This field contains the response to Question 39 about whether the household gave permission for a site visit. If the respondent answered yes, it does not mean that the TCHEP team conducted a site study, but just that the household were initially agreeing to the possibility. If this record is left blank, it means the household did not provide a response to this question.		1=Yes,2=No
