Research
I coordinate and manage databases for the Nutrient Network, a collaborative distributed experiment into the effects of nutrient limitation and mammalian herbivory on grasslands worldwide. I am especially interested in the interaction between Anthropogenic forces and evolutionary history, by using phylogenetic analyses in contemporary communities undergoing various forms of global change. In addition to the Nutrient Network, at CDR I have worked on arthropod community structure in Big Bio (e120), helped analyze experimental nutrient addition in CDR Lakes (e280), and have taught
