E007: In 1983, ground cover for plots in the deer exclosures was determined. Percent cover was not done, but a list of species present was made. Six plots per exclosure (one in each 5m of length) were set up. These plots were located randomly within each of those blocks. Random numbers for placements were assigned.

All trees were tagged, mapped, examined for browsing damage, and measured (maximum height) annually from 1983 through 1989. Future sampling will be done at variable intervals, probably every 3-5 years.
