The purpose of this experiment was to study nitrogen mineralization rates at different levels of NH4NO3 addition. The experiment took place in fields A, B, and C. Soil was collected from the macroplots described in E004 and buried bags were used to determine nitrogen mineralization. The soil was collected from macroplots and the field samples were incubated under the sod outside the macroplots. The data in 1983 are not to be trusted.
