Plants of Cedar Creek

    The sole representative of the Linden Family at Cedar Creek is Tilia americana (Basswood).  The largest population of this tree occurs on Crone’s Knoll, but scattered individuals can be found in other mesic forests on the Area.  Most of the woodlands on CCNHA are too xeric to support this tree.
