Plants of Cedar Creek

   The sole representative of the Pitcher Plant Family is Sarracenia purpurea.  A good size population of this carnivorous plant occurs in the bog surrounding Beckman Lake.  Reported to also occur off the east shore of Cedar Bog Lake.
