Plants of Cedar Creek

    Pontederia cordata (Pickerelweed) is an attractive emergent species with terminal spike of blue flowers and large cordate leaves.  It is found in Beaver Pond.  Heteranthera dubia (Water Star-grass) is a diminutive plant with small yellow flowers and strap-like leaves found along the east shore of Fish Lake during low water years.
