Plants of Cedar Creek

Two species of  the St. John’s-wort Family occur on the Area. Hypericum majus (Small flowered St. John’s-wort) occurs on exposed muck in drying marshes and also on the sandy shoreline of Fish Lake.  Triadenum fraseri (Marsh St.John's-wort) occurs on the floating mat surrounding Beckman Lake as well as in several marshy areas.

Hypericum pyramidatum and H. punctatum occur in dry, sunny sites not far from Cedar Creek and may eventually turn up here.
