Family CONVOLVULACEAE

(Morning-Glory Family)

The Morning-Glory Family is represented by two species of Convolvulus (Bindweeds).  Neither are very common.  C. sepium with large white flowers occur in CBLr.  C. arvensis with smaller white flowers was found in the Succession Strips.  Ipomoea sp with large red flowers was once seen on Marijuana Hill.  Cuscuta cephalanthi (Dodder) is an orange, parasitic epiphyte uncommon in marsh and alder thickets.
