Plants of Cedar Creek

Amaranthus albus and A. retroflexus (introduced) are crop and garden weeds.  Froelichia floridana (Prairie Froelichia) is a tall whitish forb of dry sand prairies and savannas, especially in dune areas.  It was last seen in the savanna area west of Fish Lake in 1966 until it was rediscovered along East Bethel Blvd in 2000.
