Common Loons breed on Fish Lake. There is apparently only one pair each year. In 1974 2 young were seen, in 1975 0, 1976 1, 1977 1, 1978 0, 1979 0, 1980 2, 1981 2, 1982 0, 1983 0, 1984 1, 1985 0, 1986 2, 1987 0, 1988 0, 1989 1, 1990 1, 1991 2, 1993 0, 1994 0, and in 1995 0. In about half the years young are seen with the adults. |
